Yes, family and friends (apart from my mother who A- doesn’t read my blog, and B - I try not to keep in contact with at the best of times), I know I’ve been slack at keeping in touch lately.
I’ve been busy keeping myself busy on gardening leave.
Doing the obligatory gardening in those rare moments of the English springtime and summertime when it ISN’T RAINING.
Tinkering with the new look London for Free site, reading, scrubbing the kitchen from light globe to lino, more reading, wii’ing and, oh, more reading. Shantaram is a brilliant read (read it!) and SCRUM definitely aligns with my deep down anarchist tendencies. (Let people self organise and trust that they’ll do it responsibly).
And of course, cat sitting.
And scootering. SDF now also wants to get a vespa - and I’m in the hunt for a parka, which I believe has to be green with furry bits (??? The Mod scene totally passed me by……. maybe I was drunk, or maybe I wasn’t born yet, not sure. Or maybe it’s an English thing??)
But I figured I better give an update on life in London.
New job starts on Monday (no one has yet been able to remember the name of the company I will be working for - no, its NOT Kerching, Chimychanga or Can-Ching-go but I agree they are quite catchy names). At least you all know it’s with a web consultancy, and let’s leave it at that.
Colour of hair is bright red, btw.
I’ll try to post more often in future.
